National Socio-economic and Political Opinion Survey

FJS conducted a nationally representative opinion survey covering areas on media preferences, livelihood issues, security issues such as violence and terrorism and opinions of different countries. The face-to-face survey covered 1,600 respondents spread over 70 islands. FJS recruited and trained 30 enumerators to conduct this Survey. The final deliverables of the project were detailed sampling design, translation and back-translation of questionnaire, pre-test report, final field version of questionnaire and show cards, marginal frequencies, data in ASCII and SPSS formats, codebook, methodological report, contact sheets for selected interviewers.
