UNDP Maldives engaged FJS to conduct an economic policy analysis and discussion forum. The aim of this forum was to educate the general public about economic development problems. The project included the creation, management and presentation of a series of forums for discussion on economic issues which was broadcasted on MNBC, the national television of Maldives. The issues discussed include:
- Increasing the role of tourism in local livelihood development
- Development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises sector
- Role of saving and investment
- Unemployment trends among youth
- Women entrepreneurship and participation in economic activities
- Innovation
