Mid-term Review of United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF)

FJS seconded a National Consultant in undertaking UNDAF Mid-term Review. In the Maldives, UN Agencies implement a 5-year joint UNDAF for Maldives signed between the Government of Maldives and resident and non-resident UN Agencies. The mid-term review is conducted halfway through UNDAF cycle in order to review the changing circumstances and UNDAF’s progress and realign UNDAF’s development strategies and actions to the development needs of the country. The review involved review of objectives, performance and relevance of the UNDAF for Maldives through consultations with UN Agencies, Government Departments and other relevant stakeholders including civil society, and put forth recommendations for improving the focus areas and program activities of UNDAF in collaboration with the International Consultant for the project.
