Induction training program for the Ministry of Economic Development
October 4, 2010
FJS conducted an induction training program for the Ministry of Economic Development. The main objectives of the consultancy service were to provide advice and recommendations on ways and means to strengthen Ministry’s in-house institutional mechanisms to continuously provide reliable and quality customer services to the public, in particular to the business community, and to upgrade, strengthen and enhance the knowledge and skill of staff working in key support functions of the ministry. FJS developed the induction program manual for junior executives of the Ministry. The program covered relevant legislation, state structure, ministry mandate and internal organizational structure, responsibilities and policies, and personal leadership skills. Additionally, a brief report outlining recommendations and strategies for strengthening Ministry’s in-house institutional mechanisms to continuously provide reliable and quality customer services to the public was developed.
