Income generation training program for local councils

The Local Government Authority (LGA) engaged FJS to establish an income generation training program for local councils. A total of 8 modules with a detailed syllabus, trainers guide and session guide, slideshows, student handbooks were developed, with a pilot training conducted to local councilors/LGA training team. These 8 modules were:

1. Avenues for revenue generation
2. Assessment of objectives and capacity of the council
3. Identifying income generation strategies
4. Selecting appropriate strategies
5. Developing a revenue source plan
6. Developing projects and proposals
7. Entrepreneurship and management skills
8. Monitoring and evaluation
