FJS becomes one of the first CA Maldives’ licensed Audit Firms

FJS is proud to become one of the first firms to receive audit license under the new quality-based audit licensing regime of CA Maldives. The historic day was marked on the 8^th March 2021 at a ceremony held at the Auditor General’s Office.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Maldives (CA Maldives) was established under the Maldives Chartered Accountants Act (No. l3/2020) and is the new regulatory authority of the accountancy profession. CA Maldives is mandated to formulate and implement quality standards for professional accountants.

The new quality-based audit licensing regime is a much-awaited move made by CA Maldives, that will increase trust and confidence in the profession. We wish to extend our congratulations to CA Maldives on this historic achievement and we look forward to more such initiatives by the Institute.
