Consultancy and training on business development skills for home-based workers in the outer regions of the Maldives

FJS conducted a consultancy and training on business development skills for home-based workers in the outer regions of the Maldives, as part of the efforts to SABAH project. SABAH is a cooperative society for home-based workers established by the Ministry of Economic Development with financial assistance from SAARC Development Fund. FJS undertook a market survey and developed a marketing strategy for food and handicraft products focused by SABAH Maldives that were produced in Addu, Fuvahmulah, Gaafu Dhaalu and Laamu Atoll. Following this, a training program on marketing, pricing and business plan development including trainer manuals, syllabus and content and visual aids were developed. FJS conducted this training in Addu, Fuvahmulah, Gaafu Dhaalu and Laamu Atoll
